How Do I Start the Resume Process?

Step 1: 

Select the Resume option that is right for you. You can also add a Cover Letter, LinkedIn profile, Interview Prep, or any of other services. Not sure which to select, get in touch!


Step 2: 

Once you complete your purchase, you will receive an email from us with the subject line “ResumeSpice Next Steps”. The email will include a link to complete our very short online questionnaire (90 seconds, tops!), as well as a link to schedule your resume consultation time. Your answers to the questionnaire will ensure that your writer is well-prepared for your consultation.


Step 3: 

You and your resume expert will have in-depth phone conversation to learn more about your career objectives and to expand on the online questionnaire you completed. Your preparation for this call is critical, as it will provide the foundation for your new resume.


Step 4: 

Based on the information you have provided and our experience and expertise, we will turn around a personalized resume draft to you within three business days of your consultation.


Step 5: 

You will have the opportunity to review the draft and request any changes. While we strongly recommend providing feedback within 24-48 hours, you will have up to seven calendar days to respond with comments and suggestions to your writer. For all resume levels, two rounds of revisions are included.


Step 6: 

We provide you with your customized, professional resume in PDF and Word formats!


Step 7: 

If you purchased any of our other services – cover letter, LinkedIn profile, interview, career coaching – we will begin working on them once your resume is finalized.
